Check out our name in The Book of the Yorkshire Terrier by Joan McDonald Brearley. Besides showing in the past years, we also made beautiful yorkie statues. Brearley's book shows a great history of the Yorkshire Terrier with great photos!

My very first love affair with yorkies goes back to 1978 while working as a vet tech and seeing these cute bundles of love with these big personalites at the clinic. I had to have one! Quickly our one yorkie became three when one of our vet clients from Palm Beach was moving and gave me her two yorkies. I then decided I needed to learn more about the breed and called Pat Rosenthal & Joan Effenberg (owned Champion Windamere Jazz-Man) of Ft. Lauderdale. They then introduced me to the show world of yorkies. I then become a member of the Gold Coast Yorkshire Terrier Club in South Florida. This prompted me to look for my first really good quality puppy and got a great professional handler, Glynette Cass. I learned so much from everyone and still learning today. The friendship I gained from the this experience and the people I met I will never forget and want to thank them and for teaching me so much about the breed.
We returned to showing in 2006, after a break to raise our own family. Our goals have stayed constant, to keep the standard of the Yorkshire Terrier breed. Our yorkies have won multiple Best of Breed wins at Specialty Shows, group wins at matches, and many Boest of Winners/Sest of Opposite from Open class. We have 5 finished champions of our own with two of them from our own breeding . What a great accomplishment in just 5 years! Thank you so much to the breeders that have trusted me with their own and sharing their knowledge, for this I owe you all so much. And a heartfelt thank you to our handlers that have treated our babies as their own, allowing me the time to teach (my full time job).
When raising yorkies correctly, nothing is easy. It takes a lot of work and determination. No short cuts taken to strive for the best quality!
